Navigaite is the company of Maximilian Beckenbauer, software engineer in Mainz, Germany. I design systems, build custom software, integrate AI into existing systems, advise on technical decisions and run what I have built. My clients are companies that want to be able to justify a decision a year from now.
That all of this comes from one hand is not a headcount to compare against an agency. It is a different approach: anyone who will have to run a system later designs it differently, and anyone who intends to hand it over builds it from the start so the handover works.
The office is in Mainz; on-site meetings are common across the Rhine-Main region. Most of the work happens remotely, with companies across Germany and Europe, in English or German.

I work inside the client's team, not beside it. Decisions are made where the expertise sits, and they are documented so they still make sense a year on.

Tests, reviews and security checks are part of the delivery and never a later line item. If it cannot be maintained, I do not count it as finished.

Code, infrastructure and documentation belong to the client. Every project is built so another team can carry it on without me.

Every project has a measurable goal. If an idea doesn't reach it, I say so, even when it would be technically appealing.

Rental catalogue, dispatch planner, importer and website on one shared back end: a catalogue for customers, a planning tool for the team and an import for the inventory. Shipped through the same pipeline that builds this site.

A tool that checks every link in a body of PDF documents for reachability and detects dead targets. Where a reliable replacement exists, it proposes one with a confidence rating. Runs locally and delivers a readable report.

A custom WordPress theme instead of a bought one, plus an SEO roadmap with measurable goals for the local market, organic and in the Maps pack. Measured with Search Console.

Own product, sailingCrewsy
A web app that skippers and crews use to plan a sailing trip. The meal plan turns into the shopping list, and on the packing list everyone enters what they are bringing. Expenses go into the crew kitty with a photo of the receipt, and after the trip there is a PDF confirming the sea miles sailed.
